Maurits Kreijveld is owner and CEO of Wisdom of the Crowd, a future and strategy consultancy. He is an expert in digital transformation, collaborative innovation and platform economics. He is also a frequent speaker and lecturer at business schools.

He has advised more than thirty organizations, governments and international companies on the impact of new technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence, blockchain, nanotechnology, smart cities) on their strategy, their business and governance models.

Maurits worked with several think thanks on themes such as the societal impact of new technologies, scenario planning, foresighting and innovation models. Before, Maurits worked with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs on innovation, ict and new media policy.

Maurits has published four books, three of which were nominated top 5 management book of the year. He wrote more than hundred well-read articles on leading Dutch websites, in magazines and edited volumes.
